Visit the mechanic, inspect the upgrade categories and spend Pebbles on the problem stopping your current route. Confirm the selected vehicle and fitted upgrade before leaving the garage.

Open the mechanic and inspect your vehicle
Check the descriptions for storage, suspension, water resistance, tyres and winch in the current mechanic menu. Compare the cost to your balance before confirming a purchase.
- At the mechanic, open the vehicle/upgrade menu. Check which vehicle is currently selected.
- Inspect the listed upgrade options and their price against your Pebbles balance.
- Buy the upgrade you need and confirm the active equipment before leaving.
Choose the upgrade that matches the obstacle
Repeated wheelspin suggests examining tyres and your driving line. Repeated underside contact suggests examining suspension and a less abrupt approach. For water, inspect the water-resistance option and scout the exit; an upgrade does not make every depth safe.
Our recommendation is to change one relevant part and revisit the same obstacle. If the vehicle still hangs on the same rock, change the line instead of buying unrelated parts. Repair damage before judging the result.

Prepare the tools as well as the vehicle
Check the mechanic’s tool/loadout menu before a route. Trees make winching useful; open terrain may call for a portable anchor; gaps call for planks. Leave with tools that address the route rather than treating every slot as cosmetic.
To add a vehicle to the selection, use the separate vehicle-unlock guide. Its documented Niva target is Elvis Ridge in upper Gimli Ridge. Once a vehicle is awarded, return to the vehicle menu and check that it is available for selection.
